
The Collier Model Aeronautic Club, (CMAC) was founded in 1980.
It's purpose is to promote the design, building and flying of radio-controlled model aircraft.
Only electric-powered models are permitted.

Manatee Flying Field is a registered FAA – Recognized Identification Area (FRIA)
authorized field.
Aircraft are not required to be equipped with remote ID when flying
at the site.

About Our Field:
• Over 1600 sq. feet of shade under two steel-roofed pavilions
• Two solar charging stations provide AC/DC power
• 250' GeoTextile runways positioned for any wind direction
• Great bunch of guys, clear skies, clean air- and an occasional bear

CMAC AIRFIELD SAFETY AND OPERATING RULES

All Pilots flying at the Manatee Field must agree to these rules.

The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA)
Membership in the AMA is required to fly at our field.
FAA Drone Zone
You will need a Certificate of Registration from the FAA and display that number somewhere on your flying model.
T.R.U.S.T. certification:
The law requires that all recreational flyers pass an aeronautical knowledge and safety test.
